“The Wizards Beer Festival”: A Harry Potter themed party sponsored by Rock Star Beer Festivals, held at the Spring Field Banquet Center in Fullerton, California.

The Spring Field Banquet Center is one of Fullerton’s most cherished landmarks. It’s a classic venue with a vintage flair and used for a variety of events such as weddings and birthday parties. This venue was transformed from its white wall elegance to a magical and colorful world that had five floors of different activities for each level.
The event held unlimited tastings of beers, wine, hard cider, and “Buttered Beer”. Guests dressed up as Hogwarts students and some as other characters since it was also a Halloween party. Many people came as “Muggles” to enjoy the event with their friends.

1st floor: A live band called “Sega Genecide” performed when I arrived (a 90’s tribute band), dancing, alcohol vendors, and their “Magic Shop” that sold Hogwarts House mugs and magic wands. The Sorting Hat made an appearance, which sorted guests to their house affiliation or booted them off as a “Muggle” or a “Death Eater”.

2nd Floor: An open bar and the “Wall of Secrets” which were full of post it notes with quotes such as “I hate short people, please don’t tell them.”

3rd Floor: The “PotterHead Trivia” Room and a Photo Op area.

4th Floor: Their dance club with DJ Dumble D (aka DJ DumbleDore), which played music that had guests line dancing, alcohol vendors, and the sought out “Buttered Beer” drink.

5th Floor: A balcony that viewed the 4th floor and an outdoor terrace that viewed the street. They also had a dining area that served food.
A wizarding evening of Harry Potter fans making merry in a magical scene of tipsy adult witches and wizards conjuring mischief and debauchery. People enjoyed themselves throughout the evening which was full of laughter, dancing, cheers, and a lot of selfies.
